Narain Sewa Sansthan In Partnership With Indian Dental Association (H.O) started the activities of Tobacco Free India Campaign at bangalore

Narain Sewa Sansthan In Partnership With Indian Dental Association (H.O) started the activities of  Tobacco Free India Campaign at bangalore .
Camp organised At Mount Carmel Primary & Higher School at Pennaya. In this camp 415 students of this School got free Health Checkup which includes General Body Checkup, Eyes, Oral & Dental , skin checkup.During the camp it was found that  most of the students having worm problem because of intake of impure water in their day to day life. Students aged group between 10- 14 years having severe dental problem because of mixed Dentition period & lack of awareness regarding brushing technique methods & materials to be used . 45% of students having vision related problem due to insufficient intake of vitamins in their food, & Metrolifestyle( Pollution). On this occasion,  students of primary & higher secondary created awareness regarding Tobacco Ill Effects by holding the plug kards demonstrating the warning of Bad face of Tobacco in their locality. Documetary film  was shown to the parents to create awareness .
On this event Dr. Sachin Sinha ,Dr. Jaykanth, Dr Usha R, Dr. Remy Mathew, Dr Jyotsana Reddy, Mrs.Birender Kaur, Mr Jasvender Singh & others were there.

Blood Donation Camp - Donate Blood , Save Life


On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti ,Narain Sewa Sansthan organised Blood checkup & Donation camp in association with
 Indian Dental Association & National Medicos organisation with the support of Rashtrottanna Blood Bank in the Premises 
of NIAM College of Management Studies,Jayanagar 7th Block, Bangalore.
Students & Staff of NIAM College actively participated in this voluntary Blood Donation Camp.
 
The Awareness regarding  Blood & its disorders , importance of Iron supplements was created by Doctors through Educational Programme amongst the students & staffs.
 
In the camp, during the check up it is found that 40% of the females who came for donating Blood having less haemoglobin percentage due to Metro lifestyle , Sleepless Night & Improper Diet.
 The certificate of Participation was distributed to the Volunteers for Donating Blood.

Annual general meet of Narain Sewa Sansthan



Annual general meet of Narain Sewa Sansthan (R) took place at N.I.A.M management college, jayanagar Bangalore, Members of Sansthan from different states of India participated in this meeting.

In this meeting , work done by members at Kerala, Andhra pradesh, Tamil nadu, Bihar, Karnataka states were shown. on this occasion vice President (NATIONAL) of Sansthan Dr C R Ramachandran made a statement to make India free from tobacco and that we can achieve only by educating and creating awareness about ill effects of tobacco in various forms through education.
Dr Sachin Sinha , Secretery general of sansthan announced regarding the establishment of 16 tobacco de-addiction centers all over southern states where the people will get free consultation, check up and counseling. on this occasion Dr Joby peter President kerala branch and Dr A M Suresh President karnataka branch requested all the members of the sansthan to conduct screening and educational  camps at various levels of the society (focusing more on rural areas , schools and colleges).

Activities done by Narain Sewa Sansthan






On the Occasion of 46th Anniversary of Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of INDIA) Bangalore , Narain Sewa Sansthan (R) in Association with Indian Dental Association (H.O) Conducted Interactive health Awareness Programme on "ORAL CANCER Detection & TOBACCO CONTROL

On the Occasion of 46th Anniversary of Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum (Ministry of Culture, Govt. Of INDIA) Bangalore , Narain Sewa Sansthan (R) in Association with Indian Dental Association (H.O) Conducted Interactive health Awareness Programme on "ORAL CANCER Detection & TOBACCO CONTROL"  on 26th of july at the premises of Visvesvaraya industrial and Technological Museum, to educate the people & visitors regarding the adverse effects of Tobacco in various forms.
 
                  On this occasion Dr.Padma k Bhat ,H.O.D & Professor of Dept. of Public health Dentistry, Head -Scientific Commitee (Narain Sewa Sansthan) gave a talk on Hazardous effects of Tobacco in both smokeless & Smoke form. she told that India is having the maximum Number of Oral Cancer Cases every year  because of the use of Tobacco. Dr. Sachin Sinha ,Secreatry of Narain Sewa Sansthan & Member of I.D.A , educated the Audience that 43% of Cancer Death are due to  Tobacco, Diet & Infection. Tobacco also causes Cancer at many sites including throat , mouth , Liver , bladder & Kidneys.
       Documentary Film based on Brushing technique was shown in the Auditorium.
People were advised to use Fluoride Containing pastes with soft Brush.  4 Persons amongst the audience were referred to Narain  Tobacco De - Addiction Centre approved By India Dental Association for free Counselling ,Consultation & Treatment, to quit the habit. Educational leaflets were distributed.
 
      Eduactional & Informative Standy regarding ill effects of Tobacco was Donated to the Museum by Dr. Sachin Sinha , Secretary of Narain Sewa Sansthan with the support of Dr. Ashok dhoble , Hon. Sec. General of Indian Dental Association.
 
On This Occasion Mr. S.M.Khened, Director -  V.I.T.M , Mr. S .Muthu kumar (Chief Education Officer - V.I.T.M) ,Mr. Gopal Krishna Prasad (Education officer- V.I.T.M), Mr. Chaitanya ,Dr. Usha Ramagouni, Dr. Amit Kumar, Dr. Bhumika & others were Present.

Narain Sewa Sansthan

Narain Sewa Sansthan Formed On 6th July 2004 By A Group Of Doctors & Technocrats, is Non Government Organisation providing support & services in the field of Health, Education & Environment. Member of the organisation have a dream to eradicate problem from society for better tomorrow for human being & other living creatures.

Advocacy on Indian public health policy, Awareness & implementation of various health related Projects from common citizen in India, is also a key result of our organisation's work.

Many N.G.O have been working on these subjects but a not a single one has seriously touched the most essential thing of all the public awareness.

We place a special focus on Awareness of CANCER (Anti Tobacco Programme) & education rights of children. Our mission is to minimize human suffering in the field of health, education and polluted environment. That can be achieved only through awareness and education.
