Tobacco free India Campaign Flag Off At Bangalore


Tobacco Free India campaign organized by Narain Sewa Sansthan partner with Indian Dental   Association. Flag off ceremony of tobacco free India which held at ACS convention centre Mysore road. In this function  Padmashri  Anil Kumble  Former Indian cricket Captain  was the chief guest , Dr George  Thomas  President  IDA was guest of honour  , Dr. C R Ramchandran  Chair Person Tobacco free india   , Mr. Manoj Kumar Sinha  President Narain sewa sansthan , Dr. Somil Rastogi- WHO consultant,      Dr. V. Raju, DME (Govt. of Karnataka) , Dr. Padma. K Bhat ,an a team of doctors from various dental colleges of Bangalore were part of the flag off ceremony and more than 1500 people  were  present in  Tobacco free India Campaign  flag off . Two doctor  Dr. Sachin Sinha  secretary  Narain Sewa Sansthan  & Chief  Co-ordinator  of Tobacco Free India  Campaign  & Dr Joby Peter  Sectary  kerala  Branch  Narain Sewa Sansthan moving in  1 car  , covering  13 state ,  45 centres , more than 9000 kms , in 37 days, to  spread the message “Choose Life not Tobacco”.
Mr .Anil Kumble advise people not to use tobacco and wish for the success of this tobacco free India campaign and  appreciated  Narain Sewa  Sansthan for their   work .  Dr. George Thomas  told the ill effect of regular use of  tobacco product, and  in  future  IDA &  Narain Sewa Sansthan  will work together   and he also  Wish Dr sachin & Dr Joby Peter  for the  success of the campaign .                           Dr.  Sachin Sinha administrative Anti Tobacco Oath to the participant present on the function.
This initiative is taken up by Narain Sewa Sansthan under the able leadership & guidance of Dr. Ashok. Dhoble, Hon. Secretary General, IDA. In these campaign documentary films about the ill effects of tobacco use, consultations, public educations, parent guidance and education of tobacco use, distribution of pamphlets regarding the harmful effects of tobacco use and questioner etc are arranged with this programme.
The campaign vehicle proceeded from Bangalore towards Tamil Nadu and will cover Pondicherry and so on.
